Coop's TV

Coop's TV is an initiative of Cooperatives of the Americas that seeks to share cooperative practices from the American continent.

Below you will be able to access the programs of the second season of Coop's TV.

Cooperatives of the Americas It is the regional representation of the Alliance for the American continent. Its primary objective is "to promote the repositioning of the cooperative model in the new economic, political, social and commercial environment, supporting the member organizations of the Alliance in the Americas in the dissemination and defense of the cooperative identity, the promotion of business and the human resource development”. The Regional Office is the link between the cooperatives of the American continent and the world network, which facilitates their participation in specialized networks, allowing them to get involved with the sector of their interest.

The World Cooperative Monitor 12th Edition

A total of 94 cooperative and mutual aid entities on the American continent are among the 300 largest in the world according to their level of turnover. Of them, 73 are located in the United States, 12 in Brazil, 7 in Canada and 2 in Argentina.

Among them, 41 are from the United States, 21 from Brazil, 10 from Colombia, 7 from Canada, 5 from Argentina, 1 from Costa Rica, 1 from Mexico and 1 from Uruguay.

In this way, the Americas region slightly increases its presence in the report periodically carried out by the ACI together with Euricse. In the previous MCM, there were 91 entities in the top 300 according to turnover and 85 according to turnover measured by national GDP per capita.
