Platform of Cooperatives of the Americas for Development (PCAD)


History

 The Platform of Cooperatives of the Americas for Development (PCAD) was established in 2018 as an operational instrument and open space for work between the cooperative organizations of the Americas and the main actors of international cooperation and sustainable development.

Objectives

1.- International cooperation

Promote and support international cooperative development activities between cooperative organizations of the American continent and the main actors in international cooperation for development. 

2.- Exchange of experiences

Exchange experiences on international cooperative development and concrete solutions to the challenges faced by the cooperative sector in achieving the Sustainable Development Goals (SDG). 

3.- Cooperative Model 

Promote and position the cooperative model as the main reference in the American continent for the execution of international projects and international development policies.
