To kick off the celebrations of UN International Year of Cooperatives 2025, the Committee for the Promotion and Advancement of Cooperatives (COPAC), in collaboration with the United Nations Permanent Mission in Mongolia, will hold an event to present AIC 2025.
The event will take place during the UN High-Level Political Forum at the United Nations headquarters in New York on July 9, 2024, from 10:00 AM to 12:00 pm (EST). It will be 72 hours after the International Day of Cooperatives 2024, which will be celebrated under the motto «Cooperatives build a better future for all people».
It will be a hybrid event in preparation for AIC 2024, which will officially open during the ICA International Cooperative Conference, scheduled for November 26-29, 2024 in New Delhi (India). The event will be a space to delve deeper into the AIC theme, present the logo and the media package, as well as the UN resolutions on the AIC launch modalities.
