On February 20, in Punta del Este, Uruguay, the presentation of the official events of Cooperatives of the Americas for the International Year of Cooperatives 2025 will take place.
Cooperatives are key players in building a fairer and more sustainable world.
In this 2025 International Year of Cooperatives, we want to reaffirm this commitment and demonstrate that we are at the heart of solutions to global challenges.
For this reason, on February 20, in Punta del Este, Uruguay, the official launch of the Regional Agenda of official events of Cooperatives of the Americas for the International Year of Cooperatives 2025 will take place.
We have prepared a series of activities throughout the year and this day will be the space for meeting and presenting this agenda that will mark a historic celebration for our movement.
In addition to this main theme, we have prepared a day of activities that will include the presentation of the calendar of events, a conference, and the presentation of the first two themes of the research: “What has happened between 2012 and 2025 in the framework of the International Year of Cooperatives?”
This official event of the International Year of Cooperatives will be broadcast live through the social networks of Cooperatives of the Americas, providing a unique space to connect with other cooperators, share knowledge and broaden the horizons of the cooperative movement, kicking off the celebration of this exciting year.
