Panama will host the main event and elective assembly in 2026.

The Board of Directors of Cooperatives of the Americas has decided to hold its Regional Elective Assembly and a regional and global event in Panama City on September 13, 14, and 15, 2026.

The details of the call and the preliminary program of this event to renew the mandate of the Board of Directors and the Board of the Sectoral and Thematic Committees - which will reach the natural end of the four-year period, having been elected in 2022 - will be announced within the end of next August, after the Second regional event of the International Year of Cooperatives, to be held in Cancun, Mexico on August 27 and 28.
