Training Internship: Education, Entrepreneurship and Incubation of Cooperative Ecosystems 

Within the framework of the initiatives promoted for the International Year of Cooperatives, Cooperatives of the Americas presents the Training Internship in Education, Entrepreneurship and Incubation of Cooperative Ecosystems, a training opportunity aimed at cooperators in the region. 

This internship represents a unique opportunity to immerse yourself in the Mondragón model, one of the most successful and benchmark cooperative groups worldwide. Through direct interaction with industry experts, the exploration of innovative models, and the analysis of best practices, participants will be able to learn firsthand strategies for cooperative management, development, and sustainability. This learning and networking It will not only allow you to identify replicable processes for your organizations, but also to promote innovation and the strengthening of the cooperative movement in the region, promoting a vision of transformative and sustainable cooperation. 

The internship will take place from May 29 to June 6, 2025, in Guipúzcoa, Spain, offering an immersive experience at the heart of Mondragón's cooperative ecosystem. Participants will have the opportunity to attend the launch sessions of the Arizmendiarrieta Social Economy Think Tank (ASETT), a recently established Hub to promote the creation of social economy businesses.

In addition, key topics such as the cooperative education, a fundamental pillar to strengthen the identity and values ​​of cooperativism, and the entrepreneurship and incubation, analyzing their impact on the generation of new socioeconomic initiatives and attracting young people to the sector. This unique experience will allow participants to learn about successful models firsthand, exchange ideas with international experts, and acquire strategic tools to drive growth and innovation in the region's cooperatives. 

The program will combine theoretical and practical sessions with visits to notable cooperative experiences and is aimed at leaders in the cooperative movement, board and committee members, and representatives of cooperative organizations, as well as young people interested in education, entrepreneurship, and incubation within the sector. 

The cost of the internship package is: US$1.000 for member organizations and US$1.200 for non-member organizations. for non-member organizations. This includes lunches during the actual internship days, internal transportation, and academic workload. Airfare, dinners, and lodging are not included.
