Signature agreement with LifeWatch ERIC
The agreement signed on March 21, 2023 between Cooperatives of the Americas, Consortium ERI LifeWatchC in triangulation with the IICA – Inter-American Institute for Cooperation on Agriculture.
LifeWatch ERIC was established as a European Research Infrastructure Consortium by the European Commission in 2017 that provides research facilities and ecosystem functions and services to help society address key planetary challenges and its goals include, but are not limited to, creating international level alliances between like-minded organizations in Europe and the Americas.
With the agreement, we will be able to provide a Competence Center for the application of technologies to cooperative and family agriculture so that the food systems of the Americas are more sustainable and can contribute not only to the supply of communities and food sovereignty, but also to mitigate climate change.
